Sergio Conceicao will make changes to the AC Milan side that will face Bologna, but will resist the temptation to rotate heavily.
After victory against Genoa, Milan are preparing to take to the field against Bologna in Serie A on Friday night in what is ultimately an appetiser for next week’s season-defining game: the Coppa Italia final in Rome.

The Rossoneri are coming off four wins and one defeat in their last five games played and will therefore want to continue the positive trend, but Vincenzo Italiano’s teamare in the thick of the Champions League fight, just one point away from fourth place.
Milan’s predicted XI vs. Bologna
There has been a lot of media speculation about the idea of heavy rotation from Conceicao, to almost disguise his side in view of the game in the capital on May 14. However, the five absences – including Rafael Leao, Youssouf Fofana and Warren Bondo – complicate things a bit.
Di Marzio reports that the rearguard should be unchanged with Tomori, Gabbia and Pavlovic forming the defensive line in front of Maignan. Watch out for Thiaw who is pushing for a starting spot, though.
Jimenez and Theo Hernandez will be the wing-backs again, with Loftus-Cheek and Reijnders in midfield. Joao Felix return in attack to replace Leao, with Pulisic on the other side. At striker it is a battle between Gimenez and Jovic, with the former being the favourite at present.
Predicted Milan XI (3-4-2-1): Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Jimenez, Loftus-Cheek, Reijnders, Theo; Pulisic, Joao Felix; Gimenez.

I’d love to know what it says in Felix’s contract about number of appearances 😀
Yeah, at this point I’d prefer Chukwueze on the right with Pulisic moving to the left, over playing Felix. Or Walker at RWB and Jimenez pushed up to one of the wings opposite Puli.
My best opinion would be
Kyle Malick Bartesaghi
Emerson RLC Yunus Filippo
Samuel Santiago João
Subs: Riccardo, Tammy, Francesco, Warren (if okay).
Yunus and Filippo can assist Bartesaghi without the ball and fill João’s defensive lapses.
Agreed. I am wondering if they’ve decided Chuck must leave and don’t want to take a chance on him getting injured. I think they have given up on him to quickly. That said, when he does play there seems to be a foolish mistake in him at least once a game.
I’ve given up on Walker.. . he’s lost a step and gives you nothing on offense.
Agree he seems too old for RWB.
If it is not a back 4 then his best position is to rotate with Tomori at RCB.
I dont think so….i mean it’s a case by case basis.. this games merits opportunity.
This game should also rotate pulisic theo and most important reinjders. We have options in those spots
speed wise if that is what you are hinting and even if Walker has lost some of his speed he has at least up until recently been the 2nd or 3rd fastest player in this team of highest max speed reached this season as I saw some stats where he had reached 34 kilomteres pr. hour max speed. I believe Theo had reached in between 34-36 and Leao as the second fastest player in the squad if I remember correctly at present.
5 mil for Walker on a salary for 4.5 mil pr, year isn’t too bad as his experience and leadership could greatly benefit the entire squad for a few years to come. Will he play second fiddle to Jimenez might be a different matter though but personally I wouldn’t have any great issues with him and the Spaniard switching between them for the next 2 years.
Why tf is Felix still anywhere in the squad for games??? He literally offers less in attack than our Center backs
Yesterday checked to LS predicted Musah- Jovic instead Felix-Gimenez
First squad Jovic has presented high playing stats already …
This predicted above are intruguing one at least.
So Chukuweze have better line in as sub too
Gl hf forza grande Milan
