AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri is expected to make a number of changes to his starting XI to face Como on Wednesday night.
With Adrien Rabiot out, it was impossible that Allegri would go unchanged for this game. However, most would not have expected the number of changes that the Italian is expected to go for, according to report this evening.

Allegri’s XI choices for Milan-Como
As written by MilanNews, it appears that there will be three changes to the team that beat Pisa. Though, they are not as spread out as most would’ve expected, with two differences in midfield and one in the attacking duo.
Koni De Winter was expected to return to the starting squad, but Allegri will name Fikayo Tomori once again, rather than picking the Belgian on this occasion.
Moving forward, Rabiot will be replaced on the left of midfield by Samuele Ricci, whilst Youssouf Fofana will also be replaced in the midfield three by Ardon Jashari, giving both of them a chance to play alongside Luka Modric together.
Then, Ruben Loftus-Cheek retains his place up front, and he will start alongside the returning Rafael Leao. It was expected that Christopher Nkunku would be the one to keep his spot, but the Englishman is set to be named there instead.
Predicted Milan XI (3-5-2): Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Athekame, Jashari, Modric, Ricci, Bartesaghi; Loftus-Cheek, Leao.
Pencil in the 3 points if Loftus Cheek starts up top.
Meanwhile, Juventus defenders not named Bremer are comedy.

Fullkrug is fit . Pulisic looked just fine coming in last match, much livelier than Leao anyways. What’s wrong with Nkunku?

Allegri made it clear that he wasn’t sure if he would play tomorrow due to fitness issues. Besides of that why get mad at a prediction as it isn’t exactly anything but a journalists opinion.
I think people are forgetting the comment made by Mr Allergry during our match against Barcelona long ago,he made it clear that matches are won in the last 15minutes , that’s why he reserve his weapons to come later.those with hypertension should not watch his first half at least just the way we played against Como last match

I’ve had my doubts given their physical similarities but it’ll be interesting to see how they’d go if this were to happen.
Who’s going to mark for them….the defensive duties should not be left for modric alone..age is not on his side..
All of them are good readers of the game and hence markers. Fofana on the other hand is notoriously sluggish in covering spaces as his defensive quality expresses only in the clinch.

But I absolutely can’t see why we wouldn’t try Puli & Fullkrug up top.
Leao looks soooo slugggggish right now. He’s not at the top of his game, and without his top speed, he’s barely a mediocre contributor. He kind of mopes around.
RLC is fine as a backup, and has a few nice finishes in him, and he’s not a bad player, but he’s a poor passer relative to our starters, and he’s poor on the ball in the attacking third.
Well, we’ll see what happens.
Seems like the type of technical midfield that is needed to play around Como’s heavy pressing. In one of the comments I saw someone complaining about the age old Allegrian story. This does look like he’s learning and developing. Could just as easily have gone with a Fofana – Modric – RLC midfield (as many had expected). Seems to me this is an attempt to control the midfield battle with players that are more equipped to playing in tight spaces.
