MN: Predicted XI for Inter-Milan – Back to Udine for Conceicao

AC Milan will revert to the team that smashed Udinese, it seems, against Inter tomorrow, with Sergio Conceicao looking for his second trophy.

The win in Udine was probably Milan’s best all season, simply due to the fact that the team displayed everything it needed to. Style, quality and excitement were the big three takeaways from that game, and that was due to the new system.

So, it seems Sergio Conceicao will revert to that team against Inter tomorrow, according to Milan News.

As the report suggests, Mike Maignan will start in goal, and for the third game in a row, Fikayo Tomori, Matteo Gabbia and Strahinja Pavlovic are the expected defensive trio – though reports suggest Malick Thiaw could start.

In midfield, it should be a bank of four, consisting of Alex Jimenez, Tijjani Reijnders, Youssouf Fofana and Theo Hernandez. Though the wing-backs are expected to be more defensive in this system than they were in Udine.

Leading the line, Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic are seemingly given options, with Conceicao refusing to overlook the pair. However, there is a ballot up front. With that being said, Tammy Abraham is expected to start currently, though Luka Jovic could also be a starter.

Predicted Milan XI (3-4-3): Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Jimenez, Fofana, Reijnders, Theo Hernandez; Pulisic, Abraham, Leao.

  1. Udinese hadn’t won a game in like 6 matches prior…yet our media acts like it was a massive victory and turning point for Milan. “Milan played a perfect game…” …etc wow have we fallen

    1. It was a massive victory, udinese have a history of causing problems for milan. They did it earlier on this season.
The team didn’t let in the usual 2+ goals per match in two games (4:0 win and 1:0 loss). More compact.
