AC Milan are on the road again this weekend, with a trip to Lazio scheduled and Ruben Amorim will make a few changes from the draw with Juventus.
The draw with Juventus last week brought some Milan fans back to earth. Yet, with seven points from three games, why should the optimism fade? This weekend’s trip to Rome will be tough, but if they can take 10 points from 12, it would be something worth getting excited about.

The expected Milan XI vs. Lazio
MilanNews writes that the defence, as expected, will remain unchanged. Matteo Gabbia still isn’t close enough to a return, so Koni De Winter gets the nod. Mario Gila is also fine after his scare last weekend in Turin. Mike Maignan and Strahinja Pavlovic, on the other hand, retain their places with no questions.
Samuel Chukwueze will return as a starter this weekend, too, having been replaced by Diego Moreiera last week. There were suggestions that the Belgian would start on the left instead of Pervis Estupinan, but these suggestions are seemingly not true, with the Ecuadorian expected to start.
In ‘the middle’, the box of Luka Modric, Yunus Musah, Adrien Rabiot and Alexis Saelemaekers will be changed only once, with Alphadjo Cisse returning as the left attacking midfielder.
It’s also worth noting that Rabiot is ‘a doubt’, according to the report, but he’s still expected to be given the start. Christian Pulisic is expected to get minutes this weekend, so if the Frenchman doesn’t start, it seems likely that the American could. Up front, Goncalo Ramos will start; there are no questions there.
Predicted Milan XI (3-4-2-1): Maignan; Gila, De Winter, Pavlovic; Chukwueze, Modric, Musah, Estupinan; Rabiot, Cisse; Ramos.
0 Italians. This team sucks. Who cares even if they win
I’ve watched almost every game since 98, but it’s getting very hard lately
In case anyone thinks Amorim might be some kind of genius, look up his 9/11 comment where he compares football to a terrorist attack. He’s a dumbass.
I feel like people are just whining about everything lately, everything is “hard” everyone is “dumbasses” and every commenter is a “smartass”
Where you not here during the banter era? as of watching Milan now is hard compared to back then it took us 10 years to compete for cl spots. Atleast we are there now, its a step forward, not backward. Next step is to get the stadium done which hopefully will allow us financially to compete in the league and just maybe we will be able to afford the best italian players.
It took us 7 years.
Dude, do you have anything positive to say, if not please go away. This is not your stress ball.
I am not going anywhere.
Atleast you are consistant, for good or bad we know what we gonna get
Did you switch names Maldini?
Cisse is Italian
Cisse is Italian.
10 points out of 12 will be an impressive start 💪
how are we spending 50-60 mil on one player and still starting estupinan and chukwueze over him..
wtf is going on.
Moreira needs to play every game unless very tired or injured..
Amorim needs to play him into form theres just no 2 ways about this jeeeeeeezus
I had the same reaction. Moreira must not be in shape. I don’t understand why we had a chance to sell Estupinan and didn’t. Amorim simply had to watch film from last year to see Estupinan’s level of play.
