Last weekend, AC Milan named a full-strength team against Sassuolo and they will do so again against Napoli in the Supercoppa Italiana.
There were a few questions asked when Massimiliano Allegri opted to stick with the starters for the game against the Neroverdi. However, it may have been a test of their character to play two important games in a few days.

Now, Milan will name a pretty similar team against Napoli on Thursday night.
Milan’s predicted XI for Napoli
Mike Maignan remains in the net, whilst Strahinja Pavlovic and Fikayo Tomori keep their places in the backline. Due to Matteo Gabbia’s injury, though, the Italian has not travelled and he will be replaced by Koni De Winter, as MilanNews reports.
The midfield will remain unchanged, so Alexis Saelemaekers and Davide Bartesaghi will flank the trio of Adrien Rabiot, Luka Modric and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. It is worth noting that Youssouf Fofana has recovered now, too, so he could feature.
Finally, with Rafael Leao set to miss the game, Christopher Nkunku will lead the line alongside Christian Pulisic. There will be no rushing for Leao, so Nkunku has a chance to impress.
Predicted Milan XI (3-5-2): Maignan; Tomori, De Winter, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Loftus-Cheek, Modric, Rabiot, Bartesaghi; Nkunku, Pulisic.

I’d rather see Jashari get more minutes and let Modrić, who is clearly on the decline, rest a bit.
About time, yes
H
💯 – we need Modric on form for the league- not flying halfway across the world to play in the desert..
American boss so desperate for a money from this supercoppa… There is no real chance for young talent to shine…
Yh
Camarda oh Camarda why they loaned you this season..
I’d rather pavlovic+ bartesaghi on the left CB than de winter . He played out of position last Milan game…
Why De Winter….. he doesn’t deserve to start.
