MN: Predicted Milan XI vs. Sassuolo – Allegri makes three changes

On Sunday afternoon, AC Milan will travel to face Sassuolo at the Stadium MAPEI. It could be a turning point for the club with three points.

Sunday’s trip to the MAPEI has significant potential. Results elsewhere could bring Champions League football back to San Siro, which is a must for the future of the project. However, Allegri still wants to see at least another six points arrive on the table, as he stated in his pre-match press conference.

Predicted Milan XI vs. Sassuolo

MilanNews reports that there are set to be no changes in defence, and there shouldn’t be. Two clean sheets in a row without any reason for concern deserve to be rewarded. So, Mike Maignan, Fikayo Tomori, Matteo Gabbia and Strahinja Pavlovic will start.

In midfield, there are a few changes of note. Firstly, Ardon Jashari will enter the starting XI in the place of Luka Modric, then Davide Bartesaghi will be removed from the starting team, with Pervis Estupinan taking his place.

Barring that, there are no changes in the middle. Allegri’s preferred French duo will start once again.

Finally, Christopher Nkunku is set to be given his first of four chances to end the season. The Frenchman is close to leaving the Diavolo, so he must show signs of ability to avoid that fate. Rafael Leao will start alongside him.

From Allegri, it is a clear message. The Leao-Pulisic partnership has failed.

Predicted Milan XI (3-5-2): Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Fofana, Jashari, Rabiot, Estupinan; Leao, Nkunku.

  1. Pulisic was the top scorer with Lautaro with 8 each before Allegri a garbage can of a coach started to sit him and just killed any enthusiasm from the player who at this point just wants to leave but hey we will be stuck with this POS of a coach moving forwards thanks to the other genius Furlani

    1. Pulisic got injured while on International duty. His injury sat him down, not Allegri. He came back from 1 injury and suffered another 1 and then when he was healthy Allegri started him but Pulisic was missing sitters being 1v1 with the GKer. That led to his lack of confidence to this day. Allegri still starts him no matter how bad, both Pulisic and Leao has been. If you are going to blame Allegri, you should blame him for playing that duo even though everyone can see they don’t work together.

  2. I’m blaming Allegri a garbage can of a coach even Berlusconi fired his ass for his boring style of play who the hell wants to watch 1-0 0-0 game come on dude

    1. Berlusconi fired him after 4 season when he sold off his best players because he was going broke.
Allegri doesn’t tell his players not to score. It isn’t his fault that they are incapable of scoring

    2. Come on dude try using some punctuation you can’t be such a clown all the time right maybe you can but come on dude.

  3. We just need 5 points to qualify right now . Thank God we are playing away. Hopefully they will come with 3 points otherwise there will be serious issues .

  4. I don’t understand the issue of selling Leao n Pulsic. I know they are not fit for 352 formation but what of the days we need to change formation ? Like 433 for low teams. If Alegri uses his rigid 352 formation to destroy our best players, he will one day be kicked out and will run to Roma or Napoli just like he did back then when he said Pirlo was too hold only for a year after left for Juventus and used Prilo to win several trophies. To play 352 ,u need versatile and quality midfielders.. The problem is thus management can spend on qualities players that Allegri needs
