AC Milan are back in action at San Siro on Sunday night, hoping to follow up the midweek win over Como with another victory.
The opponents tonight are Lecce, a side that are one place above the relegation zone at present. With Inter and Napoli having won on Saturday, there is once again a need to respond for Massimiliano Allegri’s side.
AC Milan vs. Lecce: Predicted starting XIs
As La Gazzetta dello Sport report this morning, the only injured player for Milan is Santiago Gimenez. Strahinja Pavlovic has been back in training after having nine stitches in his head, but isn’t deemed fit enough to start the game.
Therefore, the three-man defence will be Fikayo Tomori, Matteo Gabbia and Koni De Winter ahead of Mike Maignan in goal. Alexis Saelemaekers will start again on the right, with Pervis Estupinan coming in on the left.
Luka Modric and Adrien Rabiot keep their place in the midfield trio, with Samuele Ricci joining them on the right side. Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic should get the nod for only their third league start together.
Predicted Milan XI (3-5-2): Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, De Winter; Saelemaekers, Ricci, Modric, Rabiot, Estupinan; Pulisic, Leao.
Predicted bench: Terracciano, Pittarella; Athekame, Odogu, Bartesaghi, Fofana, Jashari, Loftus-Cheek; Nkunku, Füllkrug.
Predicted Lecce XI (4-2-3-1): Falcone; Perez, Siebert, Tiago Gabriel, Gallo; Ramadani, Coulibaly; Morente, Gandelman, Banda; Stulic.
Predicted bench: Früchtl, Samooja, Kouassi, Jean, Ndaba, Kaba, S. Fofana, Helgason, Ngom, Maleh, Sala, Marchwinski, Ndri, Pierotti, Sottil.

FINALLY Ricci! Its your chance boy to show them your worth. He is far better in finishing chances then Fofana. If he gets half good chances Fofana had up to now he will be a worthy Rejindeers successor!
fofana gets to those positions cause fofana movement is goated when he hasnt run likea frog catching up the lost balls he places. ricci cant do half the stuff fofana does excpet backpasseses pace and finish the ball on target
Same holds for Estupinan. This is his chance to show that he’s worth keeping. If he underperforms against Lecce, then there’s no doubt about what the team should do.
