AC Milan are back in action at San Siro this evening as they welcome Udinese, hoping to bounce back after the defeat against Napoli.
With Inter now nine points ahead and second place handed over to Antonio Conte’s side, Milan must now focus on defending their spot inside the top four, with fifth place only six points away and some big games yet to come.

Milan vs. Udinese: Predicted starting XIs
The good news is that Milan now finally have a fully fit squad. Centre-back Matteo Gabbia was the most recent to leave the treatment room, meaning that Allegri has decisions to make in every department.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Mike Maignan will have a four-man defence ahead of him consisting of Zachary Athekame, Koni De Winter, Strahinja Pavlovic and Davide Bartesaghi. The midfield trio should be Samuele Ricci, Luka Modric and Adrien Rabiot.
The big news is the transition to a front three with a centre-back coming out and an extra forward coming in. The paper believe that Alexis Saelemaekers and Christian Pulisic will flank Rafael Leao, who remains as a striker.

As a CF, Laeo doesn’t have to drop back and defend; hence the reason they put him there even though he prefers the wing. Saelemaekers won’t have to defend as far back, and hopefully, Pavlovic won’t enter the attacking box except during free kicks.
Sacrificing Leap by playing him as a number 9, just so previous Salaemakers can still play??
This is so dumb. We have the two best wingers in Serie A in Leao & Pulisic, and thosw should be locked down every game. Leao is a pure winger, and is wasted in attack. Unless Salad plays otherworldly, it’s not worth it…
