Il Tempo: Another Premier League side joins Milan in fight for Zaniolo

By Euan Burns -

Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion are the latest side to join the fight for AS Roma attacker Nicolo Zaniolo who is linked with AC Milan, a report claims.

As has been reported by Il Tempo (via Milan News), the south coast club are one of many clubs that are now thinking of making a bid for Zaniolo.

the Italian looks destined to leave Roma this month after falling out with the club and Juventus and Milan are the most heavily linked Italian sides.

Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United have been linked too, as well as Borussia Dortmund. Brighton are now in that discussion too having just sold Leandro Trossard to Arsenal after he fell out with the coach, Roberto De Zerbi.

The Seagulls are ready to offer Roma a fee of €25 million which is much lower than the €40 million asking price but it gets the ball rolling.

  1. O dear don’t think we need him ,hardly prolific .
It’s still Olivier Giroud for me …With have Rebic ,we have Origi ,we have keletare ..no one of them is a better striker than Olivier..We need someone who can cross the ball into the penalty area ..Who might that be ?

  2. If Maldini signs this loser he should be fired immediately. Zaniolo is terrible. Can’t play 90 mins ever. Always hurt. Dribbles too much.

  3. This is the only site that says milan are interested in bringing in zaniolo, so is it a concrete Thing or just one of a million people milan are always linked to but will never get unless they’re nobody’s and free?

  4. Also, two seasons ago this guy was touted to be the best italy player of this generation. Unfortunately had two major knee problems so that’s hard to recover from. But for the most part he has stayed healthy and showed glimpses of his old self. It’s very hard for a player like him to perform under Mourinho.

Let’s also be real, as a milan fan who do we realistically think we can get that is better than him? Especially this January. If we can get him on loan with an option for 30m or under to me it’s a gamble to take. It can’t be any worse than cdk messias and saelemaekers. If he performs like he did then we just got an 80m player for years to come. I usually say I hope players we bring in prove me wrong, if we bring him in I hope he proves me right.

I’d like to Know other people’s thoughts on this and if you don’t agree, why not and the main thing, what is the alternative?? Yes I know he’s been injured and he’s got somewhat of a big ego but if he finds form he can be one milans best players.

    1. He’s not good. Period. He thinks he is way better than he actually is, tries to do way too much. Always dribbling too much instead of passing. Can’t pull off any of the moves he thinks he can. I’ve almost never seen him play a full 90 minutes. Doesn’t have good endurance, always hurt, ineffective when he does play. He’s got pace, that’s about it. All the young Italian players get overrated by the Italian media. Same with Tonali.

  5. Slažem se sa komentarom ali njegovo koljeno je veliki upitnik i zato ne bi želio da Milan pogrješi jer jednostavno to više ne smije !! Ljetni transferi 2022 su svi promašaj i to se ne može dopustiti !!
