Sky: PSG man on pole to reinforce Milan’s defence over Spurs and Eintracht duo – the reason

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are continuing to work on the signing of a new centre-back and at the moment the most concrete track is Abdou Diallo, a report claims.

According to what Sky (via MilanNews) are reporting, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are still looking for a central defender, and Diallo has overtaken both Japhet Tanganga of Spurs and Evan N’Dicka of Eintracht Frankfurt.

Diallo could arrive on loan with a lower option to buy figure compared to Tanganga, while PSG can even help cover part of his salary. The management like the Senegal international because of the experience he has but also his versatility given he can play left-back too.

N’Dicka can play both centre-back and left-back too, but his contract is due to expire in 2023 with Frankfurt and therefore Milan would have to buy him outright in order to sign him, and there is not a large budget available after the Charles De Ketelaere outlay.
