Report claims PSG are among clubs to enquire over €32m Milan man ahead of the summer

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could well receive offers for Charles De Ketelaere from the Premier League this summer despite his difficult first season in Italy, a report claims.

Jeunes Footeux in France recall that Milan paid €32m to sign De Ketelaere from Club Brugge after a season in which he netted 18 goals and added 10 assists but so far he is yet to score a single goal for the Rossoneri and is behind Brahim Diaz in the pecking order.

The report claims that Milan ‘are already looking for a way out’ while Leicester City and Brighton interested in the idea of securing the services of the 21-year-old, while PSG sporting director Luis Campos has also made an enquiry ahead of the summer.

De Ketelaere is under contract until 2027 and the source adds that interested clubs will ‘seek to obtain a loan with an option to buy’, but the next transfer window is still a long way off and he could yet find his groove with Milan.

  1. Like milan would consider a loan with option to buy considering the limits of our squad and funds.
Id say stick with the kid and im pretty sure the management views it the same way so im pretty confident to say that this is just a made up bs story.

    1. In the new formation he could be perfect to play on the right behind the striker. However i doubt Pioli will give him a chance unless Diaz gets injured, cause that’s the only way Pioli changes his starting line up.

      1. Maybe that would work but if we actually finally do buy a right winger and diaz goes back to madrid then there should be more opportunities for both him and adli in the cam role if we reverse back to the old formation. He could also be fielded up centrally if he regains his confidence in front of goal.
Either way i doubt milans management will entertain any offers for him currently unless they actually well exceeds what we paid for him and currently that simply isnt in the cards to happen.

        1. Id say Milan are seriously considering his future.
At this point he will be costing milan 32m
Subtract 1 year amortisation thats roughly 25m. If they get offered that id say they would take it and move on

Lets be honest if he doesn’t find some confidence and form, he will probably want out too

          1. I disagree as he has shown glimpses of great stuff but it just hasnt gone as hoped both yet due to him missing some sitters but also well placed passes made by him that wasnt capitalized upon by others. The great majority of people and former players can see the talent is there so im defently of the view that he will get one season more to prove himself but of course if the player himself asked to leave then the club propably woudnt stand in his way if the right offer came around but that is not 25 mil and certainly not a loan with an option to buy.
i think both parts are open to proceed with eachother though and the player must also have a great desire to prove himself and i do believe that we generally has shown will to give players the time to prove themselves.

  2. Not sure what has happened to this guy but he looks lost in every match. Doesn’t matter how many minutes or what position he plays or who the opponent is. He loses the ball must of the time and misses every single chance even from 5 yards out. I wouldn’t blame management if they sold him for what they paid, IF he doesn’t catch fire by the end of the season.

  3. My opinion is he will be still not ready enough for 2 or 3 full match in league under pioli so how if pioli is replaced and we’ll see cdk under new coach and system…this also refer to adli and vranckx
