L’Equipe: PSG plotting move for €35-40m Lyon man – Milan could net €7-8m

AC Milan could be set for a nice boost to their summer transfer kitty thanks to a move from Paris Saint-Germain, a report claims.

According to reports from L’Equipe (via MilanLive), PSG have a strong interest in signing Lyon midfielder Lucas Paqueta, who was signed by Milan during the January window of the 2018-19 season and was sold after failing to make much of an impact.

Today Paquetà is one of the leaders of Lyon and is one of the first names on the team sheet, with 7 goals and 4 assists to his name in 25 league games so far this season, so it is no surprise that he is drawing interest from the Parisians.

Leonardo was the man in charge when Milan invested €35m to sign him from Flamengo and now he wants him at PSG, and the Rossoneri have been alerted because they secured a percentage of the future resale.

The current value of Paquetà is around €35-40m and PSG are studying an offer, so given the percentage resale then Milan would be in line for €7-8m of the proceeds, the report claims.
