Estupinan gives me Emerson Royale vibes! His performances have been largely abysmal. So I would hedge my bet on Bartesaghi, but he too needs to up his game.
Estupinan’s decision making – or lack thereof – can be atrocious. In addition to not just knocking the ball out of bounds which led to the first goal, he almost created a penalty by fruitlessly diving on a Parma player in front of the Milan goal. At least Bartesaghi – who may not have the foot speed to be a wingback defender – will make more careful decisions.
