In recent months, Christian Pulisic has been subjected to more criticism than most at AC Milan. But he’s started the season fantastically.
Being without a goal for Milan in 2026 was noticeably having an effect on Pulisic by the end of last season. It seemed like he couldn’t find the net, whatever he did and whatever he changed, and that invited pressure on.

With Rafael Leao’s situation, too, it seemed like there was a line drawn, where some had to pick one of them to support.
So, the summer was spent discussing his quality, his future and everything in between. However, the season has started with calls for his return and they’ve already been answered with positivity.
Pulisic back
As MilanNews writes, Pulisic remains a hot topic, especially with him remaining at Milanello during the break. However, the heat has been turned down a little after his performances so far this season.
He’s got his first goal and assist already, but above all, he looks sharp.

It’s the first time since late 2025 that he’s had two (or more) contributions across two consecutive games. 266 days after his last goal, the first against Lecce could spur him on further to being the man that the Diavolo need.

What I love is Pulisic Gila Ramos and Rabiot playing, scoring and celebrating together so beautifully.
This is the best attacking front we’ve had since Giroux left. Ramos will find his way by eventually getting better service. Pulisic, Moreira, Hutchinson all have great 1v1 skills and speed. Cisse is a man-child who is only going to get better. Rabiot is opportunistic, always going forward. When they gel, it will put opponents on their heels.
