The year of 2026 has not been kind to Christian Pulisic so far, and the AC Milan star is hoping to turn over a new leaf.
As Corriere dello Sport (via MilanPress) recall, the last time Udinese and Milan met, Christian Pulisic scored a brace. It was towards the end of 2025 in a 3-0 win, and it was during one of the best bits of form he has had since he arrived at the club.

Today, however, the situation is very different: the American hasn’t scored in almost four months, and his performance has visibly declined. This evening’s match against the Bianconeri is a chance for redemption for several reasons.
A new Pulisic?
A potential shift concerns his tactical role, given that reports suggest Massimiliano Allegri will move the USA international from playing as a second striker to operating as a winger in a 4-3-3 system, a more natural position for him.
Playing a bit wider, Pulisic will be asked to showcase his dribbling, pace, creativity and his finishing when/if the opportunity presents itself, qualities that Milan as a whole have been sorely lacking in recently.
There is another interesting footnote: as often happens with those who want to break away from the past, Pulisic has changed his look. He’s eager for change, to rediscover his shooting boots and his consistency.
