Pulisic discusses his success with Milan: “I’m loving it right now”

Christian Pulisic has had a great start to his adventure at AC Milan with two goals in three games. The American winger shared his thoughts on the move while on international duty, stating that he’s loving life right now.

Pulisic arrived earlier this summer in a €20m deal from Chelsea, following what was a very tough season for him. After doing well in pre-season, the winger opened his account for Milan in the season opener with a great striker.

The 24-year-old is now on two goals, after scoring against Torino as well, and has been an important player on the right flank. Speaking on the sidelines of international duty, via US Soccer, he shared his thoughts on the Milan move.

“Yeah, it’s been exciting for me with this new opportunity, new team, new league. It’s a fresh start, it was definitely the right time for me and I’m loving it right now. I’m definitely enjoying the game. I put in some good performances and I just have to keep it going, I’m really excited for the future there,” he stated.

Pulisic will return to Milanello late next week due to international duty and thus might not play from start against Inter. Stefano Pioli will likely make the decision on gameday and it remains to be seen what condition the winger will be in.

  1. Fans will really start to let him once they see how influential he can be coming off the bench. He’s the type of player I can change the game in the last 20 minutes off the bench.

      1. Just using the Inter game as an example. He can make an immediate impact so when he isn’t the starter, he still delivers high quality. I think fans will be happy to see him warming up on the sidelines if we’re in need of a spark in a game he didn’t start.

    1. Certainly starter material. It would be a surprise if Chuk even overpass him in the selection order.
People forget how good of a player he was before Chelsea. Chuk was never nowhere near Pulisic level.
