A response has been published by AC Milan to a story circulating regarding an argument involving Sergio Conceicao and Christian Pulisic.
In case you missed it, today’s edition of La Repubblica spoke of ‘extreme tension’ at Milan and a climate inside the Milan dressing room that is far from positive at the moment, given the Champions League elimination against Feyenoord.
The most surprising claim though involved Christian Pulisic, and the idea that he had a heated confrontation with the coach at half-time during the defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in the final game of the first phase in the UCL.
The paper alleged that the American winger had then gone to the directors and asked to be sold in the summer if they planned to keep the Portuguese coach, such was the level of his discontent.
It is not something we see very often at all, but on their X profile Milan have published a brief quote from Pulisic which responds to the story published this morning by La Repubblica.
“I have never argued with the Coach and I have never asked to leave. I am very happy at Milan and I want to continue wearing this shirt. Reading these lies is unacceptable, but let’s all continue to remain united and fight together on the pitch, for the Club and for our fans,” he said.

Obviously Pulisic is lying, its all a conspiracy, the papers know all the truth, totally not ragebaits
hahaha 100% Repubblica always knows what happens at every club. Gospel!
Good, story didn’t make sense at all just based on his character. If true it would really mean Conceicao is way too hard and that’s why everyone reacts the way they did in the previous article. Also, this is another confirmation most of the media outlets in IT are working hard on creating artificial tension in the club.
Because he isnt Italian they dont like him
Conceicao might not be Italian born, but he spent majority of his playing career here, at Parma, Lazio and Inter, his son was even born here and holds Italian citizenship.
I don’t think it’s about Conceicao being to hard, it’s about being pushed aside for Felix. I still think there is some truth to it that somehow got out. Here’s what to look for- does Pulisic sign the contract extenstion? If he doesn’t, he certainly wants to leave, We’ll see. I am tired at this yelling at the players. I think Conceicao has not advanced the team. I also think the first mistake was getting rid of Pioli. Then Fonseca who ‘lost the locker room’ because he was holding Leao and Theo accountable. The year before Pulisic came the team was really in 5th place. They only got up to 4th because of Juve’s points deduction. And this was with Tonali. The next year 2nd place with an aging striker. Yes, no big wins, but a ton of injuries in the defense. But that is what the fans overall wanted.
Starting to Lose to Inter consecutively was never going to go down well. ( Pioli )
Agree. Yet I bet they would take Pioli back now. The grass is always greener on the other side until ti isn’t.
Felix will be leaving, not Pulisic. The world cup is in the USA next summer. There’s no way management will let the star player of the USMNT leave with a home world cup coming. They’ll probably keep Musah around for the same reason, even though he sucks.
Muss sucks? Sometimes I wonder what is inside some people’s head.
I mean he has been very bad at times, shockingly bad even… And people just overlook his clear and obvious talent and the fact that he’s just 22, and focus on his poor performances.
Personally I think he needed another year or two at a smaller club before coming. Milan is not the right place to learn on the job (just ask CDK). He’s starting to come around though. If he can develop some in-game IQ and a little more finesse with his shot and passing, he could be a really outstanding player.
Pulisic is literally half-injured but you guys refuse to see it in any way the papers wont tell you to look at it
Let’s be honest, Milan is a great time for the Media now because of how the club structure is and what has happened since the season began. Lot’s of potential drama to be made. Any outrageous claims thrown out there can stick and I must say some fans are really fickle.. Ready to jump at anything..
This story says ohh.. Heated argument after the Dinamo Zagreb game.. they went all the way back there because it can stick, after all it was a disappointing result for us. I ask , Have you seen any kind of tension between Pulisic and Concenciao?.. If this nonsense stories were not coming out, would we have noticed or said, “oh there seems to be some kind of tension between Pulisic and Concenciao?”..
And also the story of ooh.. they might be benching him and him carrying an injury or not being fit may not be true.. Ok, well apart from being a lot more Healthier and available since he came to Milan, are we going to say we did not know he had fitness issues in the past.. Maybe he is struggling with fitness.
I think we should just ignore all this news that don’t make sense.
* Conceicao. My bad
La Repubblica is based in Rome, and there you have Lazio who is fighting for the top 4 🤷🏾♂️
Well done Pula! Need to be a team now to get to 4th
Juve and Motta lose worse and Italian media is very silent, everyone is very happy there right? After spending whole summer hyping them up to be title challengers while Milan wasnt even in the conversation
but now poor old Motta needs time and anyone joining Milan is always unhappy, if the agenda wasnt clear to you before it should be now.
Yeah Juve spent far more last summer.
I’m glad that there’s no such tension. However if Conceicao continues to hold Pulisic as less important to freaks like Leao and Felix then there should be no peace at the club until someone leaves and that shouldn’t be Pulisic.
I’ve said before we need more info on the supposed “fitness” issue with Pulisic. It’s too vague. What’s going on?
Secondly, lets hope Conceição doesn’t shaft Pulisic because João Félix seems to be the darling little teacher’s pet — he has known him since he was a teenager, when he roomed with his oldest son, Rodrigo. (They also share the same agent, Jorge Mendes.)
João has potential if he just stops shooting every half chance he gets. He’s too greedy for goal. Remember what he said at his press conference? “Of course I prefer to score goals, anyone who says otherwise is lying”. If he’s a target striker that’s one thing, but to hear that from our supposed playmaking #10… And then to watch him play like that on the pitch… That’s a problem
Sue the pants off La Repubblica.
Maybe they can earn back the money they lost from the UCL exit. :/
And I thought the British media were bad…..
Both the fans and media always write nonsense
