Watch: Pulisic explains why he loves being at Milan – “Just so enjoyable”

Christian Pulisic has made it clear how happy he is to be at AC Milan, admitting that making the move last summer has helped turn his career around.

Pulisic is without doubt experiencing a career-best moment as he continues to be Milan’s most decisive player while also being the leading man for the USMNT under new head coach Mauricio Pochettino.

Now, a clip has surfaced in which the winger has spoken about being with the Rossoneri as part of a guest appearance on the Bob Does Golf YouTube channel.

“I’m loving Italy, Italy has been… dude it has changed my career around. Just the club as well, Milan has been just so enjoyable,” he said.

The fans, the stadium… you guys got to get out to San Siro. Our stadium is just… I’ve never seen anything like it man. I live right by Lake Como, Milan, everything’s right there, Switzerland. You’re close to everything.”

  1. That’s what happens when you play without ego,he’s the most accomplished player in our team, yet some of these guys feel the need to disrespect him. He needs to start raising his voice in the locker room. We as fans appreciate Puli.

    1. Well said, Fabri.

Puli is the nicest guy around, and a very complete and intelligent player, with enormous work ethics and dedication to Milan and to the fans. Arguably he is currently Milan’s best player. He’s my favorite one and my Milan jersey has his name and number. Some people here think that Rafa is my favorite player because I defend Rafa so much. Well, I do like Rafa but he isn’t. Puli is. I defend Rafa because he is scapegoated so often. Puli is not scapegoat and is rarely attacked by posters here, so I don’t need to defend him. I don’t talk about Puli so much because in his quiet ways, he does not invite controversy so there is no need to talk about him. When I do my post-game ratings though, I often credit him with a very high rate and I often highlight how he’s a class act.

Some people here did bash Puli when he was signed, claiming that he was washed and a Chelsea reject and was only being signed because he is American and the owner who is also American wanted merchandise sales. Well, Puli with his phenomenal performances rapidly shut these people up so now practically nobody attacks him.

What is funny is that now, with Puli’s success, the anti-American people here keep insisting that he is Croatian. While Puli does have dual citizenship American and Croatian, he is of course genuinely American. ONE grandparent from his father’s side was Croatian. His other three grandparents are/were American (the paternal grandmother was Italian-American; the maternal grandparents were Americans; his father was born in the US, his mother is American, and Puli was born and raised in the US. Having one foreign grandparent doesn’t make of Puli a foreigner in the US. He is American, period. He has remote Croatian descent and that’s good because he can have a European Union passport given that Croatia recognizes the blood line, thus we don’t need to use an extra-communitarian spot to have him. Otherwise, he is truly American, to the despair of the anti-American people here.

What Tomori and Abraham did to him was despicable. I hope it never happens again and Puli takes all our PKs from now on, because he has never missed one in his entire professional career.
