Pundit praises ‘perfect system’ of Pioli as Milan have ‘great talent’ in their squad

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan have started this season very well with four wins and one draw in their first five games. Certainly, they will be fighting at the top of the standings and they have already been praised by many outlets.

Just like last season, they have 13 points after the first five games. If you want to bet on them as Scudetto winners, you might have to do it very soon as the odds are bound to decrease. There are several sites available, such as V9BET.

In an interview with Sky Italia (via MilanNews), after the 2-0 win against Venezia, pundit Marco Bucciantini praised Milan. He didn’t just highlight the fact that they are a very united team, but also that there is plenty of talent in the squad.

“Milan is a team with great harmony. They have many raw talents, but they are in the perfect system. Milan is a well-organized team, but also with great talent,” he stated.

Indeed, the Rossoneri fans are very optimistic after this successful start to the season. The only worry is that they are struggling with several injuries already. Just in the game against Venezia, seven players were missing.

It was very clear that Milan lacked Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front, against what was a low-standing Venezia. Ante Rebic isn’t exactly the perfect type for these games as he thrives when there is space to attack.

Milan, of course, will be hoping that the current injuries were just a fluke and that this won’t happen again. There will be more injuries for sure, but the key is to avoid having with them all at the same time.

During the press conference after yesterday’s clash (via MilanNews), Stefano Pioli spoke about the matter and shared his thoughts. Hopefully, as he stated, some of the players will recover in time for the clash with Spezia on Saturday afternoon.

“I don’t know who we will recover by Saturday. Ibrahimovic, Giroud and Calabria and Kjaer are certainly doing better, but I don’t know for Saturday, we’ll see who we recover between tomorrow and Friday,” he stated.

Next week, like the last one, will be another tough one for Milan as they first will take on Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. Then, they will face Atalanta away from home on the Sunday, although we have good memories from that stadium. And as we have seen, Pioli and his men have done really well thus far.
