QS: Why Camarda will renew with Milan despite Man City and Arsenal interest

Francesco Camarda has every intention of signing a professional contract with AC Milan when he turns 16 years old despite the interest coming from clubs like Arsenal and Manchester City.

As has been reported by Quotidiano Sportiva (via Pianeta Milan), the 15-year-old striker will be 16 in just six days and that is when he is allowed to sign a contract with the club.

As he became the youngest-ever Serie A debutant this season against Fiorentina, lots of teams are aware of his immense talent and are prepared to offer him a contract too.

The interested clubs are Manchester City, Arsenal, Newcastle and Borussia Dortmund. There will be others too, but those four would be able to offer Camarda more money at a young age than Milan can.

Luckily for the Rossoneri, Camarda reportedly has no plans to turn his back on Milan at the first opportunity and will sign a deal lasting three years.

He should earn €400,000 per season and bonuses from this contract and, should the project develop, have the chance to play for Milan U23s in Serie C whilst also always being in with a chance of first-team minutes.

Camarda has continued to score regularly for the Primavera side after his Serie A debut.
