QS: Milan eyeing Napoli, Chelsea and Real Madrid strikers after Ibrahimovic’s latest setback

By Oliver Fisher -

There are three hypotheses currently under consideration by the AC Milan management as they battle another injury to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a report claims.

It seems as though the Rossoneri will be without Ibra for the next two or three weeks, while Pioli will have several options to choose from to replace him. It must be assumed that Ante Rebic will play the centre-forward role for the time being, but it opens up questions about a need for the January window.

According to Tuesday’s edition of the newspaper QS (via TMW), Milan have three ideas in mind as possible deputies to Ibrahimovic that could arrive in the winter window.

The name of Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik remains alive as he is almost certain to leave the club in a cut-price deal, however there are also the options of signing Olivier Giroud from Chelsea or Mariano Diaz from Real Madrid on loan deals.

  1. Mariano could be a good deal. He needs playing time and has more or less delivered everytime he has been called upon. Did well for Lyon but unfortunately things haven’t panned out the way they should have for him at Real.

  2. I totally agree for a January recruitment in Mariano Diax because he’s still young and could be an access for Milan. He has the pedigrees to delivering for Ac he did for Lyon.
