A little bit more has come to light about Adrien Rabiot’s deal with AC Milan, and it seems the previously reported figures could be wrong.
Throughout the summer, wages have been a big talking point for many players. However, it has most significantly been a discussion when Rabiot and Dusan Vlahovic were involved. Of course, the latter was not solved.

Though things were resolved with Rabiot, which is why he now wears the Rossoneri colours.
Rabiot’s wages
Milan were given an assist from Marseille, which triggered Rabiot’s exit, but there were still contract discussions needed, given he earned around €10 million per season in France, including bonuses, as Eurosport reports.

The breakdown of that was a €7m base payment, with more than €2.5m available in bonuses, totalling a package near €10m.
With the Rossoneri, it is nowhere near that much, even if there have been reports to suggest that he is the most paid player at the club, alongside Rafael Leao and Christopher Nkunku. As the report states, he will receive around €3.5m per year, perhaps due to the percentage of the deal he received.
This figure was lessened, but without compromise. For a lower fee now, the bonuses in the deal are quite high, even ‘significant’, it seems. If he wins the Scudetto, Coppa Italia or Supercoppa Italiana, he will see a big price package. Though the exacts are not specified.

uh huh Marseille paid him 10m/yr when they are in UEFA trouble already, nice joke
The article, you linked says Rabiot received a guaranteed €5 million pay. Not 10 million.
The figures you are saying as the salary is the transfer fee that Milan will pay OM €7,5M + €2,5M in bonuses.
The rest about Rabiot bonuses in Milan you just seem to have made up? Not at all clear where that is stated in the article? It says that OM will need to compensate Rabiot but nothing about Milan.
Btw here you can find the salary rankings from last year Ligue 1, figures are gross per month.

So according to L’Equipe Rabiot earned €6M gross, so ca. 3 million net. He did not take a pay cut to go to Milan,
