This summer, there has been an increased focus on the midfield, with several new players arriving. Yet, AC Milan may not be done yet.
Considering that Milan lost Tijjani Reijnders in the summer, there is certainly a bit of worry about how the midfield would fare coming into this season. On paper, the area looks better than it did last year, if not beyond.

However, the first game of the season proved that there needs to be some work done. Whether it be personnel or management, the Rossoneri had a hole in the middle of the pitch in almost every aspect of the game.
Potential reunion
Giovanni Fabbian, per reports this morning, is a consideration. However, he would not be the only one. As, once again, it seems the Diavolo will make an attempt for Adrien Rabiot, though the charge may be led by Massimiliano Allegri.

During the mercato summit yesterday, the idea was discussed of another midfield arrival, which would see Yunus Musah depart. In this case, as Calciomercato.com writes, Rabiot could be the one to arrive, considering his situation in France.
The Frenchman’s name is ‘gaining traction’ from the management, and partnered with Allegri’s desire to reunite, it could become more than an idea. Though Inter and Juventus are also viewing his situation carefully.

We clearly need an experienced CB and attacker, so of course we get another midfielder. And even another washedup ex Juve player.
This club is managed by idiots
It’s looks like Musah to Atlanta and Fofana to Saudi, will bring another €70-80m in sales and they will spend around €25-30m on Rabiot and Giovani Fabbian, will raise the level of the squad and make a ton of money
Musah out, Rabiot in. Excellent business. Problem solved.
Yes and then maybe we can flip Ricci and Jashari for a profit in January. We’ll have a top midfield with Rabiot, Modric and RLC/Fofana. /s
Musah has been here for 2 seasons and still hasn’t shown any progress – or even being remotely useful on the pitch. Jashari & Ricci are total opposites as they haven’t shown anything yet. Well, actually RIcci was convincing during the preseason.
Can’t believe they going in for this clown Rabiot. Looks like we’ll be out of Champions League again until we get rid of Mr Boring Allegri.
Well if we really want to see Allegri’s work, just give him both Rabiot and Dusan already. At least the management will know who to put finger to if things don’t work as planned.
I wasn’t really eager to get Rabiot few days ago, but when I saw the sheer horror that are Fofana and Loftus-Cheek during the last game and considering the other option is Musah, I’ll be more than happy to trade any of the mentionned players (or Bennacer or Adli) for a player who at least is capable of passing the ball and defending.
It’s like Ricci and Jashari never happened. Also, the sheer horror is actually the 3-5-2. Where do Pulisic and Leao play when they’re both healthy and this new striker is signed? Does he go to the bench to join Ricci and Jashari? New season, same old sh*tshow.
Rabiot isn’t a savior but after watching Fofana and RLC flop around for 90mns, the Frenchman is a necessary evil.
This. Absolutely a massive upgrade over these two.
WHY!?!?!? WHY DO WE KEEP TRYING FOR THIS CLOWN? A washed juve player whos a cancer in every single dressing room he joins, who cant defend, cant score, cant dribble. WHY? Hopeless idea, even musah is better
🤣🤣🤣
Why do we need this washed up mercenary and absolute snake of a player?
AC Juventus
Rabiot is a problem, not a solution. Once it is over, you do not go back to your ex.
Stupid Allegri, dumb management; they never learn.
