This week, it has been reported that Adrien Rabiot has been subject to an offer from a Saudi Arabian club. However, he does not plan to leave Milan.

It emerged earlier this week that Rabiot had been made an offer by a Saudi Arabian club, as Nicolo Schira reported. However, little was known about the offer or what actually transpired for the deal to come about.

The Rabiot offer

Today, Calciomercato.com have offered a little more insight into the situation.

As they report, an intermediary came forward with a generous offer to the player and his entourage, on behalf of a club playing in Saudi Arabia. The deal was worth three times more than his €9.2 million gross salary, which he earns at San Siro.

However, he rejected the offer. He is not open to the mercato, especially not a move to Saudi Arabia. Instead, he prefers to stay at Milanello with Massimiliano Allegri. He hopes to return to the Champions League as a key player with a view to winning trophies in the Rossoneri colours.

His entourage have taken note of the opportunity, but there are no plans to seek an exit. In fact, the opposite could occur and the Diavolo may seek further security for his future…

  1. Legend.

It shows the state of the world when already ridiculously well paid footballers are still willing to move to Saudi Arabia and help sportswash a brutal regime that murders people including journalists.

If Ronaldo couldn’t retire on his earnings then who can?

They don’t need the money, but money is a drug and they want more and more regardless of any moral, ethical or even legal concerns.

    1. The club’s owner is actually a guy whose sole purpose in life is making more and more money. He doesn’t even try to win. Lionel Messi is also helping sportwash a brutal regime that murders people including journalists, which will also host one of the most hideous World Cups in history. It’s a bigger problem than only Saudi Arabia and players.
