Adrien Rabiot has sent a message to the Pisa-Milan referee, and the officiating team in general, with a story on Instagram.

Rabiot was sent off in the dying minutes of the Rossoneri’s 2-1 win, first receiving a yellow card for a light touch on a Pisa player. Evidently not happy with the call, he said a few words to the referee and ended up getting a second yellow card.

The Frenchman was on four yellow cards before the game so once he received the first yellow, he was always going to miss the Como game. However, the red card means he will remain on four yellow cards, so another suspension will be just around the corner.

In any case, on his Instagram story, Rabiot sent a signal to the referee albeit not about the above. Instead, it was Niclas Fullkrug’s penalty that upset the Frenchman as a Pisa defender was clearly in the box when it was taken, while the goalkeeper was also off his line.

As per the regulations, the referee made the right decision as neither of these had an effect on the outcome, or supposedly so anyway. One can certainly understand Milan’s frustrations, though.

  1. Respect Rabiot, he saved your ass many times. Milan “fans” these days have no respect for the players and the club. A bunch of fake fans typing insults from their parents’ basement. Get out of here, you don’t deserve Milan.

    1. Wow you’re easily triggered.

I don’t think you understand what it is to be a Milan fan.
Rabiot is a fantastic player, I would argue our most important right now.
So when he behaves like a fool (as he has regularly in his career) and disrespects the club and fans by getting himself banned ahead of an important game for petulant behavior it is appropriate to call him out.
No different than Theo getting sent off v Feyenord.

Milan is a club, so fans support the club, not individuals

  2. Anyone watched Inter-Juventus? Referees pushed so much for Inter that it is a travesty. I am now sure that refs are so corrupt and pushing for Inter it sickens me. I never leave comments such as this, I always try to be objective, but I am not stupid nor blind. Disgusting
