The hunt to sign Samuele Ricci from Torino is seemingly getting more intense each week, with Napoli and Roma the latest teams linked.

Milan’s interest in Ricci is not something that has come out of the blue and has been spoken about for months. Gianluca Di Marzio recently reported that the directors are looking to beat the competition by getting an agreement wrapped up early in view of next summer.

Calciomercato.com have provided an update on Ricci’s situation, stating that Inter and ‘especially Milan’ are pursuing him. The Rossoneri are even willing to offer up Luka Jovic in January as a sweetener, with Torino looking for a striker following Duvan Zapata’s injury.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italy international is of interest to Roma after the rumours about Juventus wanting him. Tuttosport instead talk about a possible negotiation involving Giovanni Simeone going from Napoli to Torino in January, which could get them priority for Ricci in exchange.

Ricci is under contract with the Granata until June 2026 with a salary of €1m net per year. President Urbano Cairo has publicly guaranteed that he will not leave during the season, so it seems patience will be needed before the race is concluded.

  1. Ownership have a chance to either nut up and prove they wanna have success, or prove all the fans right by wasting more time buying more low quality signings on the cheap. They know by now we don’t expect them to pull out the pocket book for anyone worth it, here’s their chance. Prove you have ambition

  2. Urbano Cairo is a killer of careers. What he did to Belotti was criminal and I’ll never appreciate Torino even when they play Juve. Does seem he’s learned his lesson but still. That episode set the whole league back
