Rai: Milan one of four Serie A clubs tracking young Arsenal midfielder

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are taking a close look at young Arsenal midfielder Charlie Patino but they are not the only big Serie A team doing so, a report claims.

Rai (via Pianeta Milan) spoke to football intermediary Michele Fratini who revealed that Patino is attracting lots of attention from the four teams currently at the top of Serie A.

Inter, Milan, Napoli and Juventus have all been made aware of his talents, with the 20-year-old really impressing whilst on loan at Swansea City.

The major issue is that being a talented player for a top Premier League team makes him extremely expensive, and it could be a deal that costs up to €30 million.

That seems like far too much for Milan to spend on such a young player in a position where they are not lacking, but they are certainly showing interest in the youngster with English and Spanish citizenship who is having a great season.

  1. No way Arsenal will ever let Patino leave until they’ve tested him for a bit in their first team. Kid is HIGHLY rated for them.

  2. There is this kid who just turned 22 who plays at Empoli at the moment.

He is on loan from somewhere, can’t quite remember where.

Anyway, he made his return to Serie A against Atalanta a few days ago and he looked very sharp. We should send some scouts, maybe even Moncada himself, to watch him play.

    He wears number 27.
