Raiola: Juventus ‘should have signed Ibrahimovic in the summer’ to go with Cristiano Ronaldo

By Oliver Fisher -

Agent Mino Raiola has bizarrely claimed that Juventus should have signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.

The renewal of Ibrahimovic ended up being a long and drawn-out saga over the summer, but Milan did finally reach an agreement with the Swede which means he will stay until at least June 2021.

However, a number of different sources have since come out and claimed that the Rossoneri could actually look at extending Ibrahimovic’s contract again so he stays at the San Siro until he is in his 40s.

Of course it would likely be dependant on a number of different things such as the wishes of the management, his own physical condition and the European competition that Milan will play in next season.

Raiola spoke to Tuttosport about a number of different topics, and his comment on Ibrahimovic will certainly raise some eyebrows.

“Juve should have signed Ibrahimovic in the summer: he would have been a great match with Ronaldo,” he said (via MilanNews).
