Rangnick keen on Jaissle
Who is remains unknown, but another name could head into that position; the name of 38-year-old German coach, Matthias Jaissle. Currently the coach of Al Ahli, a move back to Europe would not be free.
Yet, he is held in high regard by potential new management addition Ralf Rangnick, due to the German’s time in the Red Bull football sphere.
Having won the Asian Champions League twice (consecutively), he would arrive with experience of success and the Rossoneri would be a logical step forward. It seems dependent on Rangnick’s position.
If he gets the job, who knows? Maybe Jaissle could accelerate forward in the list of suggested replacements for Massimiliano Allegri.
‘Are they really at square one?’ is a pathetic media attempt to sugarcoat failure. The truth is that Milan isn’t at square one, but rather in freefall where debt dictates decisions, randomness drives away talent, and the team’s future is mortgaged daily to satisfy investment fund accounts.
Matthias Jaissle is an amazing coach. He’s young, modern and talented. He plays a progressive, proactive, fast and dynamic football. He’s a successful coach having 6 trophies under his belt: 3 with Red Bull Salzburg and 3 with Al-Alhli.
Ralf Rangnick is the ideal man to transform Milan’s management. He has the acumen, expertise and experience to modernize the club. He has been everything in his career: Coach, executive, sporting director, technical director and chief scout. He has done all of them.
Milan and Redbird don’t have any money to invest in players like the Premier League clubs and Juventus.
So it makes sense to go the Ralf Rangnick route. I’ve always supported this idea and if we had implemented it 6yrs ago we would have won more than 1 scudetto.
Winning a scudetto with Pioli created some unrealistic expectations with Milan fans and board members. Because Redbird including other teams in Serie A except for Juventus and maybe Inter don’t have a lot funds to keep investing to make the team competitive.
So this approach is the way to go. I really hope Cardinale go for it and GIVE Rangnick the reigns to make it happen.
at that time, milan have a backbone stars like theo, tonali, maignan and leao. we just need more better coach than pioli and great attacking midfielder and giroud replacement.

In FACT Milan has spent more money on transfers than Juve recently. Let that sink in. 🙂

We need a coach who wants to play attractive attacking football. We do have the players for it.. Leao on the left, Pulisic on the right, Nkunku as a second striker. Midfielders like Rabiot and Modric behind.
However, all the attacking coaches demand that players run and press for the team. Look at PSG, where ballon d’or winner Dembele makes runs in the 90th minute for Enrique.
Dembele wouldn’t press like that for Jaissle tho.. You need a manager with some status. Someone the players look up to. I’d love Xavi, he would be the perfect fit!

No way. A coach with zero sense for defensive stability. That guy would get eaten alive in Serie A.

Let’s see how this ragnick thing works out. He may be great at scouting talents and playing attacking football but he is suited for a club with a big history and a huge die hard fans???!!!. A club whose ambitions are bigger than red bull teams. Hell what a nightmare this redbird ownership turned to be. I love my milan, but I don’t wanna see them not competing for anything. Hope Ragnick strategy works out. It was a total failure at ManU.
Rangnick never got to implement his strategy at United. They followed nonenof his advice until much later, after he left
My hope is the hiring process doesn’t become incestuous. By that I mean hiring people largely because you are close to them. Italian football has become very incestuous and we can see the results. They should have a clear checklist of the attributes/qualities they want in a manager and find the best person who best fits these.

2 days ago ragnick wasn’t even in the conversation. Yesterday he appeared as an option but the articles made it clear that he prioritize Austria. Today we read articles that he made it clear that IF he comes to Milan he wants full power and freedom (something that didn’t happened with Ibra for example) and now we are reading that he already chose the next coach.
