Massimiliano Allegri is a name that has long been linked to AC Milan, and this summer, the return may actually happen.
There have been constant links to Allegri since rumours of Stefano Pioli departing almost two years ago. However, it seems that he has never been closer to the Milan post than he currently is now, even if there is no sporting director in place.
Reports this morning suggest that Igli Tare, once again, is the favourite to be named the new director, and included in his list of candidates that he would bring to the club was Allegri, who may be the man to rebalance the Rossoneri in the short-term.
Nevertheless, the Diavolo are not the only club considering a move for the former Juventus head coach, and there have been plenty of links to other Italian clubs, and yesterday, Claudio Ranieri offered a hint about Allegri’s future, as relayed by Calciomercato.com.
“Will we see Allegri here in Rome next year? I think so. I don’t know if he’ll be wearing the Roma shirt, damn you! Of course, he’ll find a team in Italy.”
If true, probably good news. If milan are seriously considering Allegri then they might as well stay Conceicao.
That’s one of the most ignorant comments I have ever read
First… wait until the end of season if Conceicao really find a key ” how to play a football in Italy ” and then we can talk about his future..
Alegry play awful, but with him there will be consistency and CL for sure.. I really don’t know what’s better right now.. awful Alegri or pleasant Conceicao
Woldik, Allegri consistently brought juve to champions league evey year (other than when they got 25 points taken off)
I can’t believe you would be happy with coneicao after he ruined this team worse than Fonseca
Yes , I agree with you, Alegri is proven winner, if he came , I’m ok . But I don’t want to see 4-2-3-1 formation in this club. We are weaker with this formation and Alegri play only this , or 4-3-3 ….this is the reason why if new formation under Conceicao will be good against Atalanta and Inter, he can stay. But yes it’s not only about this two games , but all games until the end of season
