Cadena SER: Real Madrid hatch Brahim Diaz plan to land €150m target

By Oliver Fisher -

The future of Brahim Diaz remains a mystery as we head towards the summer and now the idea of Real Madrid using him in a swap deal has emerged.

According to what journalist Pacojó Delgado reported on the SER Deportivos programme on Cadena SER (via AS), Real Madrid are interested in signing Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund and they have begun talks with his entourage.

Liverpool withdrew from the negotiations due to the asking price, meaning Los Blancos only have Manchester City as competition, but the price tag of €150m is a figure Real Madrid do not want to pay in full either.

However, the LaLiga giants would be willing to include a player in the operation in order to lower the cash sum required: Brahim Díaz. He is on loan at Milan and his future is still up in the air, with the Rossoneri hoping to keep him.

Real Madrid will have the last word, and they have the possibility of taking advantage of his value to reduce the amount that Dortmund are asking for.

    1. Not only that but would he really be down to trade Milan for Dortmund? I’d understand if RM were to give him a chance or if he was being pursued by a PL club, but Dortmund talk about a lateral move 🤣🤣

  1. I wonder how the buy back works.. If Milan buys him and Real decide to buy him back, cant he just say he does not want a transfer and wants to stay?

    1. I think it’s unclear if there is an option and a buyback. The majority of the articles I’ve read say Milan has no option on him.
