Marca: Real Madrid have €200m to spend after Mbappe saga and turn to Milan star

Real Madrid’s plans for next season have gone up in smoke with the news that Kylian Mbappe has decided to remain at Paris Saint-Germain, but they have turned their attentions to Rafael Leao.

According to Marca, the outcome of the Mbappé saga leaves Madrid feeling frustrated but with €200m now spare to go out and reinforce the squad with some targeted additions in multiple different positions.

There are a number of names mentioned in the report as being of interest such as Aurelian Tchouameni of Monaco and Darwin Nunez of Benfica, but they also state that Leao has become the object of interest amid his best season in a Milan shirt yet.

Widespread reports are claiming that the Portuguese winger is currently in discussions with the Rossoneri management over the extension of his contract by another two years until 2026, but until that is signed and sealed there will be more market rumours like this to come.
