AC Milan defender Strahinja Pavlovic is on Real Madrid’s list ahead of the summer as they look for a new centre-back, a report claims.
As Fichajes reports, Dean Huijsen is their number one target, a player that has become one of the most coveted centre-backs in European football. They are not the only team interested in securing his services though, forcing the management to explore alternatives on the market.
With Huijsen’s arrival possibly falling through, Real Madrid have another option in the pipeline that fits their transfer policy: Strahinja Pavlovic. His name has ‘gained traction in the Santiago Bernabéu offices’ because of his current ability but also his potential.
In addition to his margins for growth, one of the factors that makes Pavlovic an attractive option is his cost. While Huijsen could fetch a high price due to interest from multiple clubs, the Serbian has a more affordable valuation, which would allow Real to pursue his signing without excessive investment.
Added to this is the good relationship between the Real Madrid and Milan boards, which would facilitate any negotiations. If Huijsen ends up choosing another destination or his price increases, Pavlovic could become the new priority target to strengthen the defensive core for next season.
Funny story😂
Huijsen, the defender that Giuntolli sold last summer for less money than what he will have to pay Milan for Kalulu, or what he will have to pay Newcastle for Kelly.
I don’t know how Guintoli keeps his job after paying more for Kelly after letting Huijsen go. He is a bigger failure than motta.
+ 15% of future profit. Not less.
Basically the two poles of center backs:
– Pavlovic is very strong in duels, physically dominant but not able to defend positionally and very bad with the ball at his feet
– Hujnsen is basically a midfield playing defense, very good reading and with excellent passing and vision.
At Madrid the must be very confused.
I like Pavlo and think he has room to grow. But let’s be honest he’s nowhere near the level that Real look at, this is a made up story probably by his agent lol
Yes, of course. Real Madrid is looking for a bargain deal to save money and will buy Pavlovic. Who writes these stupidities? 😀 I’ve heard that after they get their primary target Pavlovic they will focus 100% on Emerson Royal and give up on Trent Alexander-Arnold.
LOL
