MN: Rebic’s return is not far away – Pioli regains a key interpreter of his 4-2-3-1

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will soon welcome Ante Rebic back after a lengthy absence and he will be an important tactical element for Stefano Pioli’s system.

MilanNews writes how Rebic has been out since early November and the Rossoneri could have really used his versatility given they have struggled to keep players fit both on the left wing and in the centre-forward department, so the Croatian would have been an attacking wild card that Pioli could have made the most of to end the year.

It is still too early to say for sure whether he will be back for the game against Roma but his return is imminent. The chemistry he has with other players means that Milan’s 4-2-3-1 system should become more effective again too.

Of course, he will need time to regain a good athletic condition and match fitness, but ultimately Milan have been without him for too long and excitement is building about his return to action.

  1. When we see the title of this post it seems like Pioli is aware his problem only Rebic I wonder with his all wrong tactic for almost 2 months and without Kessie and Bennacer if he will be able to get any victory
With all respect if he read this post he should ask strongly the club to being him a defender, 2 midfield strong players and 2 strikers with base other wise he is running the team, club economy and his carrier
