AC Milan’s hopes of sealing a deal for Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot appear to have been handed a boost by reports emerging from Portugal.
Gianluca Di Marzio’s told Sky Italia (via MilanLive) last night that Milan are not giving up on signing Dalot and the Rossoneri management will send a new offer to Manchester United, probably by Friday.
The first offer – a loan with option to buy – was rejected by the Red Devils, but they are however willing to negotiate the sale of the Portuguese right-back. Roma are also on the trail of the former Porto star, but Milan seem more determined to secure the player at the moment.
Record (via Sport Witness) are also reporting that Milan are considering going back in with a new bid, and while Dalot wants to stay and try and carve out a place at Old Trafford, it seems bleak.
The Portuguese youngster is behind Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Timothy Fosu-Mensah in the pecking order, so he “admits” that he will probably have to find a new club before the deadline.
Pioli is really doing a good job for us, let’s keep on appreciating Him.
