RedBird are constantly looking for ways to improve AC Milan on and off the pitch, which has been proved with the recent reports of off-the-pitch hirings. Today, a report has suggested that the Rossoneri are looking to continue this by evaluating appointing a new CEO.
With the transfer window shut, there is only so much the club can do to prepare themselves for future seasons. One thing they can do is recruit new figures for the club, which has been seen in recent weeks with reports about the imminent arrival of Jovan Kirovski.
Today, TMW has reported that RedBird are weighing up appointing Damien Comolli as Milan’s new CEO (in place of Giorgio Furlani, who would move into a different role). The Frenchman has been hugely successful with Toulouse in recent years, and RedBird see him as a potential name to lead the club forward in the next few years.
The report credits him as the planter of the seeds at Liverpool that have blossomed to produce what Jurgen Klopp has built today, and this is why RedBird are so intrigued by him. Following his success in France, his next step could be joining the Rossoneri and leading their project in the next few years.
Damien Comolli would be a brilliant addition to Milan and he would be better suited to bring us back to CL glory. I think it’s the right move as Furlani doesn’t have the football knowledge needed to build a winning team.
BRING US BACK TO CL GLORY??? 😂 Toulouse apart from Coupe De France, what are the titles gotten by your Damien Comolli
grow more than 1 braincell and you might think diferently
seriously why is there so many kids here
This would actually make a lot of sense, his portfolio is brilliant and unlike Furlani he got lots of experience in the field of football.
So let me guess, we appoint Furlani, but less than a year later we’ve decided to remove him?
Either we don’t think he’s up for the job which means that appointing him was a mistake OR we are trying to put some distance with Furlani due to the investigation.
Either way it doesn’t look good.
Furlani won’t be leaving Milan. He’ll just be moving into a different role.
A lot of people in here will start their hate game towards him already and want him to fail if he comes withiut trying to know him because he’ll chosen by Cardinale and the new management.
