Despite the bad news provided by this past week of football, AC Milan have a few positives going for them, and without a doubt, the biggest is the news of Tijjani Reijnders’ renewal.
In the past few months, it has increasingly seemed like a case of when not if Reijnders would sign a new deal at the club, and with him loving Milan, there has not been a decision really to make about staying, despite the interest from abroad.
As a result, things have progressed well with all parties, and an extension until 2023, as reported by Matteo Moretto, is expected very shortly, especially with Milan News posting a video this afternoon of the Dutchman arriving at Casa Milan to sign his new deal, as can be seen below.

Whilst he will sign a new deal, to solidify his position at the club, reports have suggested that there is a chance he departs in a Tonali-like manner this summer. However, this is a situation that the Rossoneri will do everything to avoid.
Milan should rebuild the squad with Tijjani, Pulisic, Leao, Gimenez, Theo, Fofana, Walker, Gabbia, Pavlovic, Thiaw, Musah, Jimenez, Mike, Sportiello.
Many others should leave, and club definitely must bring 3 strong names in summer. CB, DM , and right winger.
Many here would probably want to get rid of half of those you wish to stay. I wish the same, but then the management and players/coach need to speak “same language”, having clear ideas on what they want.
Theo want to leave. Thats why he asking 8m euro nett / years, he know that ACM wont pay him more than leao. Right winger are pulisic, they will only buy new RW if chukwu leave and probably just cheap player for puli vice or they bring back saladmaker for puli back up. New CB they just sell tomori & pelegrino first to open room . New DM must sell RLC first
What about Maignan?
He renewed in this bad situation?
But i got the feeling Furlani will sell him this summer possibly to City, Barca, MU, or any big club that shows interest.
These mentioned above played a lot of games. But they played. You have other half that does not play due to injuries or very bad game play.
Emerson Royal, Florenzi, Tomori, Bennacer on loan, Morata on loan, Loftus Cheek, Okafor on loan, Chukwueze.
Those are all very expensive players, which didn’t produce anything. First 11 players at least plays. They gave some kind of energy. And these 8 to 10 names are with biggest salary, some on bigger transfer fees and in combination all flops.
Unfortunately club can’t sell all players immediately because and next year someone must play. So I expect first they move flops and few quality signings to help first 15 players.
