Relevo: Milan and Betis in talks over €5m transfer for left-back in January

Juan Miranda is one of the key targets for AC Milan ahead of the January window and negotiations are already ongoing with Real Betis. Currently having an expiring contract, the left-back could arrive for a nominal compensation.

Milan only have Theo Hernandez for the left-back position currently, not counting Davide Bartedaghi, and could thus use a reinforcement. The idea was to do it already in the summer but Fode Ballo-Toure’s ended up leaving the club on deadline day, with no time left afterwards.

The good news, however, is that the delayed attempt has made it possible for Milan to focus on Real Betis star Juan Miranda. His contract will expire in the summer and according to Relevo, there is no agreement in sight for the 23-year-old.

Milan and the Spanish side are already in negotiations over the transfer, as the report continues, and the Rossoneri are willing to offer €5m in January. This is to maintain good relations with them, while the agreement with Miranda is just one step away.

As said, Stefano Pioli could use the left-back reinforcement as Hernandez cannot play every game from start to finish. Alessandro Florenzi has covered the position a few times this season, but that is far from ideal for obvious reasons.
