AC Milan have been linked with a move for Manchester City Aymeric Laporte but he is thought to be favouring a move to Barcelona instead, a report claims.
As has been reported by Relevo, the defender feels that he has come to the end of his time with the Premier League champions and he would like to join up with Xavi at Barcelona.
There are other options available for him, though, and Milan are said to be one of them. Juventus and Newcastle United are also mentioned. The Spanish defender only recently declared for the country after getting minimal opportunities in the French set up.
It is apparently one of his dream to play for Barcelona at some point in his career and he thinks now is a plausible time. It would be an interesting signing for Milan given he would likely expect to be a starter rather than a rotational option.
