Talks are still ongoing between Ralf Rangnick and AC Milan over the undertaking of a role at the club ahead of next season, a journalist has claimed.
There have been widespread reports in the media that Rangnick is set to take on a role at Milan this summer which could be either head coach or sporting director, or possibly even both.
The German himself recently admitted that the Rossoneri have shown an interest in his services, but SportMediaset – among other sources – reiterated on Tuesday that Rangnick will be Milan’s next coach.
One man who has always been sceptical though is Bild and SportBild journalist Christian Falk, who previously stated that Rangnick will not be joining Milan during the upcoming summer as the talks between the two parties ‘were not successful’.
He then spoke in more detail about the situation and why the former Schalke and Hoffenheim boss is not set for a new adventure in Italy as things stand, before recently admitting that talks have resumed.
Now, he has provided his latest update on the situation by confirming that discussions are still ongoing, but that no decision has yet been made.
Both sides are still in contact. No decision yet
