Reliable journalist explains signing of Man City star is ‘very difficult’ for Milan

AC Milan are looking for a playmaker/right-winger on the market and with just over one week left, time is running out. A low-cost option seems likely, which is why the Bernardo Silva rumours came as a shock for many.

The English outlet Daily Star reported last night that Milan want the Portuguese international on a two-year paid loan, worth around €17.5m, with an obligation to buy set at €35m. A significant investment that doesn’t sound like the Rossoneri at all.

As clarified by the reliable Anto Vitiello this morning, when asked about the rumour, he stated that it’s a very difficult operation for Milan as the costs are very high. And one can imagine that it’s not just the transfer fee, but also Silva’s salary.

The search for a right-winger, therefore, continues and one can only hope that the Rossoneri will have a new player for that role before the window closes.
