Vitiello: Renato Sanches’ demands slowing operation after Milan and Lille agree €20m fee

AC Milan remain in talks with Jorge Mendes over the possibility of signing Renato Sanches but personal terms are proving to be hard to agree.

According to what MilanNews journalist Antonio Vitiello has said on his YouTube channel (via Francesco Nasato), the dialogues with Renato Sanches’ agent go on and that is they only thing to resolve because the club have found a general agreement with Lille over a €20m deal.

The problem at the moment regarding terms is that the 24-year-old Portugal international is asking for over €5m net per season which isn’t far off what the Rossoneri refused to pay Franck Kessie.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are trying to find a way to lower the demands of the former Bayern Munich and Benfica man so that everything can go through smoothly in view of the summer window, given he is the No.1 target to replace Kessie.
