Renato Sanches posts cryptic tweet amid Milan links: “Your turn is coming”

By Oliver Fisher -

Renato Sanches has posted a cryptic tweet that may well be a hint about his future amid constant links with a move to AC Milan.

The Lille midfielder is under contract until June 2023 and several sources are reporting that Milan have him in their sights as a potential replacement for Franck Kessie, whose deal runs out at the end of the season and looks set to join Barcelona.

Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara have been tasked with finding a midfielder who has physicality and technical quality with Renato Sanches certainly having those two things, and his agent Jorge Mendes is also the man who represents Rafael Leao.

Several journalistic sources have suggested that it is probable that the Portugal international joins the Rossoneri, with L’Équipe (via GFFN) stating he is set to move to Milan at the end of the season as part of what could be a double deal between Lille and the Rossoneri involving centre-back Sven Botman.

Meanwhile, Sanches posted on his official Twitter profile for the first time since New Years Day and put: “No ask for something, work for something… because your turn is coming.” This could be something related to his future.

  1. Asking 5,5m euro nett salary. Easy for EPL club’ to pay that . Probably go to EPL because AC Milan can only offer 3-4m euro salary/ season
