After Milan Primavera’s 2-1 win against Napoli earlier today, head coach Giovanni Renna and captain Filippo Scotti spoke to the media.
It was the Primavera’s second win in a row, having beaten Genoa last week, and they are thus picking up some form after a tough run of results. Scotti played a huge part in the win today as he got a brace, but it’s clear that several players are in a good mood at the moment.

Afterwards, Renna and Scotti were both interviewed by Giulia Mazzoleni and shared their thoughts on the game. Despite many injuries, the Rossoneri managed to work hard as a team, above all defending very well.
Renna’s reaction
“It was a hard-fought match until the very end, as it should be. Two good teams faced each other and it was an open game. In the end, we did well to capitalise on our chances.
“We could have done more in the first half, been more incisive in front of goal, but then we were rewarded with a brace from our captain, who put in a truly excellent performance.
“I can’t say anything negative about the lads today. Napoli are a great team. They came here and had two chances in the entire match. We defended very well today, and I think the lads always managed the game excellently, so let’s keep going like this and focus on Roma.”
Scotti’s reaction
“There were a lot of injuries, and we were also missing other players due to suspension, and this shows that all players in the team are starters, not just 11 starters. As the coach said, we are all essential to this team, and today we saw that with the three points.
“Being the captain of AC Milan is an honour, and being the captain of a team like this with a coach like that and mature players despite their age is fabulous.”
