AC Milan and Arsenal are battling it out to sign Red Bull Salzburg star Dominik Szoboszlai this summer, according to a journalist.
We reported on Tuesday via Vito Angele that Szoboszlai is on Rangnick’s wish list and the German has received reassurances from the club. The Rossoneri have already been in contact with the agent, collecting the player’s approval.
In the coming days, the first official offer will be presented to the Austrian side, meaning Szoboszlai could be the second to sign after Pierre Kalulu, and Calciomercato.com agreed that Milan are serious regarding the €25m-rated man.
According to French journalist Manu Lonjon on Twitter, Milan are ‘well advanced’ in the race to sign Szoboszlai from Red Bull Salzburg this summer, but they are not alone.
That is because Premier League side Arsenal are also mentioned in the tweet as being ‘well advanced’, meaning it looks like a straight shootout between the two clubs to land the young playmaker.
Arsenal et le Milan AC bien avancés. https://t.co/TsTx7J7lXo
