Report: AC Milan edging closer to €80m Belotti deal

AC Milan have officially upped their offer for Andrea Belotti by proposing €40m plus Gabriel Paletta and M’Baye Niang, Sky Sport Italia claimed on Friday.

The Rossoneri have already added quality in key areas this summer, including the likes of Mateo Musacchio, Ricardo Rodriguez, Franck Kessie, Andre Silva and most recently Leonardo Bonucci.

However, one area they are still lacking in is the presence of a guaranteed goalscorer. While Andre Silva’s arrival was a big statement, he is more of a creative forward and not the deadly finisher Vincenzo Montella craves.

La Repubblica reported on Saturday that the two clubs could close a deal at €60m cash plus the two players mentioned previously.

Sky Sport Italia state that Milan are continuing negotiations with Torino for Belotti by submitting an offer of €40m cash plus defender Paletta and winger Niang, which is valued around €65m by il Toro.

They state that the two clubs are edging closer to a deal.
