Report: AC Milan want €29m Liverpool and Croatia defender

By Oliver Fisher -

Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren is attracting interest from AC Milan as well as Napoli and Roma, a report claims.

With doubts over the future of Cristian Zapata, and the Rossoneri highly likely to be playing in three competitions again next season, Milan could be on the lookout for defensive reinforcements.

An exclusive report from English paper The Sun states that Lovren is on Milan’s summer wishlist, and he could be available for €29m (£25m) this summer.

The 29-year-old has made 165 appearances for Liverpool since arriving from Southampton in 2014, and helped Croatia reach the World Cup final last summer, forming an effective partnership with Domagoj Vida.

However, a troublesome hamstring injury has limited him to just 13 games this season.
