The agent of AC Milan defender Ricardo Rodriguez has confirmed his client’s desire to seal a move to Fenerbahce, a report claims.
According to Fanatik on Twitter, the agent of the former Wolfsburg defender – Gianluca Di Domenico – has confirmed to them that his client wants to seal a move to Istanbul.
The Swiss international has been widely tipped to leave the club this month having lost his spot in the starting line-up to summer signing Theo Hernandez.
Rodriguez is determined to play a key role for his country at the European Championship this year with a number of teams linked with his signature, and La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira stated that Fenerbahce have agreed personal terms.
Schira added that the Turkish side have not yet struck a deal with Milan as they want to take the 27-year-old on loan while the Rossoneri want him to leave on a permanent deal.
Among the other teams linked are PSV Eindhoven, Napoli and Watford – but at the moment it appears Fenerbahce are leading the hunt.
