Report: Arsenal turn to swap with Real Madrid involving Milan target as PSG star says no

By Oliver Fisher -

Arsenal have stepped up their pursuit of AC Milan target Luka Jovic by offering a sensational swap deal to Real Madrid, a report claims.

Milan’s interest in Jovic has been well documented over the past couple of weeks, with multiple outlets claiming that they are aiming to try and secure a deal worth in the region of €40-50m for the Serbia international.

Jovic has struggled since his big-money €60million move to the Santiago Bernabeu from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer, leading to suggestions he could depart after just 12 months for a loss of €10m.

According to the latest from transfer source Louis Girardi of Pianeta Milan on Twitter, Arsenal are now serious in their attempted to land the 22-year-old as another target in PSG’s Edinson Cavani has said no.

Girardi adds that the Premier League club have offered Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Real Madrid in a straight swap deal for Luka Jovic, but no indication is given regarding a response.
