Report: ‘Slight gap’ between Milan and Primavera star in renewal talks

Chaka Traore is one of the key players for AC Milan’s Primavera side and his performances haven’t gone unnoticed. In fact, the Rossoneri management are working on a renewal for the youngster, a report claims.

Traore joined Milan in a €600k deal from Parma back in 2021 and he has since become a key player for the Primavera side. He’s getting closer to the first team and given that his contract will expire in 2024, work is underway for a renewal.

According to Nico Schira, Milan had their first meeting with Traore’s agent Beppe Riso on Tuesday. There was a ‘slight gap’ between the offer and the demand, but both parties are working on reaching an agreement that will satisfy everyone.

Traore, who mainly plays on the left wing, scored eight goals and assisted an additional six this past season. And that is despite the fact that he missed 12 games due to injury, which held him back.

In the event of a renewal, Milan will send him out on loan or potentially keep him in the Primavera, while using him with the first team occasionally.
